About Me
After leaving school, I moved to Berlin to study `Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftskommunikation` at the University of Arts Berlin (UDK).
​
Then I started my copywriter-career 1991 at the legendary Copywriter Agency `Hildmann, Simon, Rempen and Schmitz` at Düsseldorf. With my first works there I won a decoration at the Junior ADC and my first ADC medal.
​
The next agency I worked for a short time was `Springer & Jacoby` and after that I stood for over seven years at KNSK, BBDO in Hamburg. There I became Creative Director and worked on highly awarded clients such as Lucky Strike, Stern, Expo 2000 and Nordsee.
​
2001 I worked as a freelancer in Berlin for such famous agencies as Jung von Matt, Heimat, Weigertpirouzwolf, Scholz&Friends Berlin, Wiesmeier and Start.
​
In the same year I was invited to become a member of the Art Directors Club Germany.
In 2002 I started as a Creative Director at McCann Erickson The Communications House Berlin (MECH) working for clients including Lufthansa, Siemens, InStyle, monster, InBev along with winning a lot new business for the agency.

At the beginning of 2006 I was appointed Executive Creative Director of MECH Berlin.
​
.In November 2009 I was elected as member of the board of the Art Directors Club Germany.
In January 2010 I assumed the creative direction of the McCann offices in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Munich and Berlin.
​
So I was nationwide the only woman in the advertising line with the title of a Chief Creative Officer.
From 2012 I had been working for the Serviceplan Sales in Munich as a Creative Managing Director for clients like Kentucky Fried Chicken, Mionetto and ADAC.
Since January 2015 I work for Ogilvy Düsseldorf as Global Executive Creative Director for the client Allianz.
I won many awards and was member of creative award juries like Cannes, Dubai Lynx, ADC of Europe, ADC Germany, Deutscher Werbefilmpreis and many more.
2016 I was the jury president for film and radio of the Art Directors Club of Europe.

I am member oft he board for the Art Directors Club Germany, presenter for the ADC Award Show an the ADC Night of Honor, and columnist for the Handelsblatt.
